The transfer of Gençlerbirliği’s young talents Can Bartu Çığır, Utku Karakaya, and Yiğit Evin to Fenerbahçe was confirmed, with Gençlerbirliği Club President Niyazi Akdaş making statements about the 15-year-old players’ move.
Akdaş, explaining the agreement with Fenerbahçe for the four young players, stated, “One of our players and his family did not want to leave. Therefore, Can Bartu Çığır, Utku Karakaya, and Yiğit Evin went. We reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe for the players for 200 thousand euros. If Fenerbahçe sells these players, we have a 15% share in the proceeds from the next sale.”
