İrfan Can Kahveci: “It was a competitive derby”

Following the 0-0 draw between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, İrfan Can Kahveci made statements.

Expressing his sorrow for the martyrs, he said, “First of all, condolences to our nation. I wish mercy from Allah to our martyrs and extend my condolences to their families.” Regarding the match, İrfan Can Kahveci commented, “It was a tight derby. We wanted to win today. In five days, there is the Super Cup match, and we want to win that. Although there were few opportunities, it was a competitive derby. It was a match with a lot of duels. Hopefully, we want to win the Super Cup match.”

As for Fred’s absence, İrfan Can said, “Fred is both a very high-quality and experienced player. He is a very useful player in our transition from defense to attack and from attack to defense. We really feel his absence. I tried to fill his position, but of course, it wasn’t quite like him, I can say. He is a very important player for us. He will be back in the match in five days.
