Fenerbahçe Executive Danabaş: “We will see who Riyadh becomes a grave for”

Mustafa Kemal Danabaş, a board member of Fenerbahçe, made statements after Fenerbahçe Womens Basketball Team defeated Galatasaray Womens Basketball team 103-83 in the match.

Praising womens players, Danabaş said, “We came here with our heads held high as the biggest in Europe. We scored over 100 points again, and we are leaving with our heads held high.” Regarding the Super Cup match in football, Danabaş used the expression, “They said ‘Ataköy will be a grave,’ Ataköy didn’t become one. Now they say ‘Riyadh will be a grave.’ We will see who it becomes a grave for.”

Expressing his thoughts on the Turkcell Super Cup final between Fenerbahçe and football teams to be played in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on December 29th, Danabaş emphasized his belief in their victory.

Danabaş said, “We came here. First, they said ‘Ataköy will be a grave,’ but it didn’t happen. Now they say ‘Riyadh will be a grave.’ We will see who it becomes a grave for. Hopefully, it won’t be a grave for anyone, but Fenerbahçe will win.”
