Fenerbahçe fans at the airport to welcome their team!
Thousands of Fenerbahçe fans flocked to Sabiha Gökçen Airport to welcome the Fenerbahçe football team returning from the postponed Super Cup match.
Following the decision to postpone the Super Cup final to a later date, a large number of fans did not leave Fenerbahçe alone as they took action to return to the country.
The Super Cup, which was planned to be played between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe at Al-Awwal Park in the capital city Riyadh of Saudi Arabia, was postponed due to the organizers not allowing the teams to wear Atatürk-themed shirts while warming up on the field. In response, the Fenerbahçe team set off on a midnight flight back to the country from Riyadh. Thousands of Fenerbahçe fans also gathered at Sabiha Gökçen Airport to welcome their team.
Supporters are waiting for their team with flags and chants.
