According to Sözcü’s news, the Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation, gathered in Riva on Monday, pressed the button for the match to be played within the month of January. Wanting to avoid any further delay in the politically charged cup final and to prevent more controversy, the TFF decided to take this step to ensure there are no issues with the broadcast rights sold to broadcasters in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).

League schedule to be postponed by 1 week

Due to EURO 2024, which will conclude on May 19th, and the already tight schedule, the league calendar will be postponed by one week. In the coming months, these postponed matches will be rescheduled to midweek fixtures.”
