Response to Presidency Claims from Aziz Yıldırım
Aziz Yıldırım denied the allegations that he would be a candidate in the upcoming presidential elections at Fenerbahçe.
Aziz Yıldırım, one of the former presidents of Fenerbahçe, stated that the news claiming he would be a candidate in this year’s presidential election at Fenerbahçe did not reflect the truth.
Aziz Yıldırım emphasized that there is currently no issue with the presidency at Fenerbahçe, stating, “Fenerbahçe does not have a presidential problem at the moment. On the contrary, it needs tranquility.”
In his written statement, Aziz Yıldırım used the following expressions:
“All allegations made today about me, stating that I have decided to intervene in Fenerbahçe’s presidential election and that I have met with some names on Saadettin Saran’s list, are all lies.
I currently have no involvement in the Fenerbahçe Presidency, and I have not contacted anyone on Saadettin Saran’s list.
Only one person who was planning to be on Saran’s list wanted to hear my opinions, and I shared my thoughts with him in the presence of a few people.
Fenerbahçe does not have a presidential problem at the moment. On the contrary, it needs tranquility.
These types of false news made with my name are being used to gain attention. If I have any plans, I will personally share them with the public.
I kindly request not to give credibility to such false news made outside of my statements.”
