Ali Koç Re-elected as President of Fenerbahçe!
The voting process for the presidential election at Fenerbahçe's ordinary elective general assembly has concluded. A record number of votes were cast in the election held by the yellow and navy blue club. While the vote counting was still in progress, Board Chairman Vefa Küçük announced that Ali Koç had won the election.
The voting process at Fenerbahçe Club‘s ordinary elective general assembly was completed at 5:00 PM. Members who were in line to vote by 5:00 PM were allowed to cast their ballots. Presidential candidates Ali Koç and Aziz Yıldırım cast their votes. After completing their voting, both candidates directed their attention to the stands, eagerly awaiting the election results.
Approximately 27,000 votes were cast in Fenerbahçe’s ordinary elective general assembly.
Following the voting, the vote counting process began.
While the votes were being counted, Aziz Yıldırım and Ali Koç took the stage together. Aziz Yıldırım stated, “Dear Fenerbahçe members, we have conducted a congress worthy of Fenerbahçe. I thank you all. My colleagues and I have fulfilled our duty, and hopefully, Mr. Ali Koç and his team will lead Fenerbahçe to the championship according to the roadmap we have drawn.”
Board Chairman Vefa Küçük announced that, according to unofficial results, Ali Koç had won the election. Thus, the 3rd term of Ali Koç at Fenerbahçe has begun. The official results will be revealed once the vote counting is completed.
On Aziz Yıldırım’s social media account, a message was posted: “We congratulate Mr. Ali Koç and his administration, who were re-elected in the Ordinary General Assembly of Fenerbahçe Sports Club. May the new term be beneficial for all of Fenerbahçe. I thank all our delegates and all our supporters. Fenerbahçe has won.”
