Fenerbahçe Eyes Surprise Transfer Move for Salifou Soumah!
A surprising transfer rumor has emerged regarding Fenerbahçe, which is in the thick of the Süper Lig title race. Reports suggest that the club is highly likely to sign Salifou Soumah, a 21-year-old Guinean winger currently playing for Azerbaijan’s Zira FK.
According to Imedias, Fenerbahçe is leading the race for Soumah despite interest from CSKA Sofia. Sources close to the player state that the initial talks have been positive and that Fenerbahçe is prepared to meet Zira FK’s €800,000 asking price.
Soumah previously signed for Kayserispor nearly three years ago but had his contract terminated before even playing a match. Kayserispor later faced a two-window transfer ban from FIFA for violating the “no more than four unjustified contract terminations in one season” rule.
This season, Soumah has made 22 league appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.
