Cengiz Ünder, who has been dealing with an injury for some time at Fenerbahçe and was called up to the national team, has been excluded from the squad for the matches against Germany and Wales.

It is learned that this decision was made to allow the experienced winger, who has recently recovered from injury, to be fully ready during the international break.

Not taken to Berlin with the today, Cengiz Ünder will return to Samandıra to continue his preparations with his club. After being sidelined for a while following the injury in the Antalyaspor match and making a late appearance in the Adana Demirspor match, Ünder was included in the squad to both experience the working environment with coach Montella and the technical staff and to be with the team as one of the captains. However, due to Turkey securing a spot in EURO 2024 before the upcoming matches, Ünder has been removed from the squad.

The experienced player will continue his training at the Yellow-Navies club, and he is expected to be fully ready after the international break.
