Samet Akaydin suspended after Beşiktaş-Fenerbahçe derby

Samet Akaydın, who caused a penalty and received a yellow card in the Beşiktaş-Fenerbahçe derby, has been suspended. Samet Akaydın will not be able to play in the match against Konyaspor.

In the 15th week of the Super Lig, Beşiktaş hosted Fenerbahçe. The derby match, which started at 19:00 at Tüpraş Stadium, was officiated by referee Atilla Karaoğlan.

In the 21st minute of the match, Cenk Tosun fell to the ground after Samet Akaydın’s intervention in the penalty area. Referee Atilla Karaoğlan pointed to the penalty spot, and Samet received a yellow card. Samet Akaydın, who was on the verge of a yellow card suspension before the derby match, is now suspended.

Samet will not be able to participate in the match against Konyaspor, which will be played on Sunday, December 17th, in the 16th week of the league.
