Fenerbahce President Ali Koc Responds to Transfer Rumors!
enerbahçe President Ali Koç made statements about the transfer rumors surrounding Rade Krunic and Stefan Savic during a television program.

Here are Ali Koç‘s statements:
“While we should be putting all our energy into transfers this week, we have been immersed in these matters for the past 5 days. I won’t talk about names specifically. We never mention a name without signing. Krunic is a lingering issue from the summer. It’s a subject our coach really wants. They asked for abnormal amounts in the summer, and we couldn’t come close to those figures. The player wants to come to us, but we are not in a position to allocate the funds we set aside in the summer. Negotiations are ongoing. Savic is too expensive. His transfer is free, but his salary is too high.”
Regarding the positions for potential transfers, Ali Koç said, “We need a minimum of 1 foreign center-back and at least a number 6 or 8. The rest depends on the positions opened up by departing players. You know there is a quota.”
One of The Mistakes I Made
Ali Koç stated, “One of the mistakes I’ve made in the 5-6 year period is that we could have brought in more players from the Balkans. Their sportsmanship, taking care of themselves from a young age, is the reason why they perform like this at their current ages. Other players spend 3 weeks on the beach, the Balkans take a 1-week vacation and spend 2 weeks preparing for the season with training sessions.”
