Çağlar Söyüncü coming to Istanbul for Fenerbahçe

Fenerbahçe, making a swift entry into the mid-season transfer period, continues to strengthen its squad.

According to the news from Fanatik Newspaper by reporter Ömer Necati Albayrak, Fenerbahçe, after securing Leonardo Bonucci and Rade Krunic, has added another to their transfers: Çağlar Söyüncü.

Two significant transfers have been made

Under the management of Ismail Kartal, with stars leading the way, the Yellow and Navy team, which continues its strong performance both in the league and in Europe, had filled the gaps in the two areas they needed the most as soon as the transfer window opened. Fenerbahçe had temporarily secured the services of elite defenders such as Leonardo Bonucci, who had been with Juventus for many years, and also reached a happy ending with the long-desired Rade Krunic since the beginning of the season.

Çağlar Söyüncü is coming on loan

Fenerbahçe has reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid for the loan transfer of Çağlar Söyüncü. The national team’s defender is expected to arrive in Istanbul this evening. Although the experienced defender was in the picture for Porto, Çağlar chose Fenerbahçe.

Contract until 2027

Çağlar Söyüncü, who did not start his career at Atletico Madrid as he desired, will complete the season with Fenerbahçe. The 27-year-old defender has a contract with Atletico Madrid until June 2027. Çağlar Söyüncü wore the Altınordu jersey in the 1st Lig between 2014 and 2016, and before making his way to the Super Lig, he played for the German team Freiburg and later signed with the English representative Leicester City.
