Cengiz Ünder, speaking about his transfer process to Fenerbahçe, expressed, “The squad structure and the fans of Fenerbahçe caught my attention. “My transfer process was challenging”
Describing his transfer process to Fenerbahçe, Cengiz Ünder said, “I had a dream of coming to Fenerbahçe and wearing the striped jersey from a young age. I realized these dreams and understood how big of a club Fenerbahçe is. Fenerbahçe is, in my opinion, the best and most special club with fans in Turkey.
I played in Europe for many years. After reaching a certain point, I began to think about returning to Turkey. Fenerbahçe’s squad structure and the fans attracted me a lot. My transfer process was challenging, but it ended well. It was one of the most correct decisions I made.”
“I don’t have the thought of returning to Europe”
Cengiz Ünder, stating that he doesn’t have the thought of returning to Europe, said, “What attracts me the most is the championships I will experience with Fenerbahçe. This motivates me a lot. I don’t have the thought of returning to Europe again. I just want to dedicate myself to Fenerbahçe. I think about the successes and trophies I will achieve with the Fenerbahçe jersey. I work thinking about living the championship with Fenerbahçe, dreaming and planning accordingly. Since the day I arrived, I am one of those who believe 100% in this and still believe it. We have a very good squad. We have the power to achieve championship.”
“I will have reached the dreamed point”
Expressing his desire to experience the joy of championship in Fenerbahçe, the national football player said, “I have always seen myself as a good player. I went to Europe at a young age, proved myself in Europe. And one of my biggest goals is to experience championship with Fenerbahçe. Now, I want to prove myself here by celebrating championships with Fenerbahçe. I am actually fighting for it. If I become a champion with Fenerbahçe, I will have reached the dreamed point in my career.”
“We have the power to reach the final”
Regarding the UEFA Europa Conference League, Cengiz Ünder said, “Looking at the other teams competing in the Conference League, we have the power to win the Conference League Cup or at least reach the final. We have a strong and quality team. We will go all the way in both the Conference League and the league.”
