The experienced coach has already made a name for himself in both club and Turkish football history with numerous records achieved this season. With the 3-1 victory against Rizespor, İsmail Kartal extended his unbeaten streak in away matches to 13 games. Kartal now shares this record with Veselinovic and Didi, who previously achieved the same feat with Fenerbahçe.
İsmail Kartal began his third term as the head coach of Fenerbahçe this season. In his previous two terms, he took charge mid-season. Taking the managerial reins at the start of the season for the first time, the experienced coach has been shattering records along the way.
With the 3-1 victory over Rizespor, the 62-year-old coach once again etched his name in the history of the Yellow-Navy team.
