In the quarter-final clash of the Turkish Cup, Fenerbahçe was eliminated from the tournament with a 3-0 defeat against Ankaragücü.
Ankaragücü emerged as the side advancing to the semi-finals by winning the match 3-0. The goals were scored by Morutan in the 10th minute, Chatzigiovanis in the 33rd minute, and Rodrigues in the 87th minute.
