Acun Ilıcalı Confirms Michy Batshuayi’s Departure from Fenerbahçe
Fenerbahçe Board Member Acun Ilıcalı has announced that they will not continue with Michy Batshuayi, whose contract has expired.
Fenerbahçe Club Board Member Acun Ilıcalı stated that, based on a report from head coach Jose Mourinho, they have decided not to continue with Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi.
In his statement to the AA correspondent, Ilıcalı said, “In our meetings with our coach Jose Mourinho, we have determined a different roadmap for the striker position. Our transfer work and negotiations are progressing positively. I want our fans to know this. If we had wanted, we could have kept Batshuayi in the team. We ask our fans to be patient and continue to trust us.”
