Fenerbahçe Agrees to Loan Deal with Juventus for Filip Kostic
Fenerbahçe is preparing to sign Filip Kostic from Juventus on loan. The Yellow-Navy Blues have reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Filip Kostic.
Fenerbahçe is set to strengthen its squad with Filip Kostic.
The Yellow-Navy Blues are close to bringing in Kostic, who currently plays for Juventus, on loan with a purchase option.
The management, who has also convinced the player’s side, will loan the 31-year-old left-winger with a purchase option. The Serbian footballer is expected to arrive in Istanbul this evening.
FILIP KOSTIC’S CAREER
Filip Kostic began his football career with his country’s team, Kragujevac, and then played for Radnicki, Groningen, Stuttgart, Hamburg, and Eintracht Frankfurt.
In the 2022-2023 season, Filip Kostic transferred to Juventus for 15 million euros. At the Italian giant, Kostic recorded 3 goals and 15 assists in 87 matches.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE EUROPEAN SQUAD
Juventus, who appointed Thiago Motta as head coach, did not include Filip Kostic in their Champions League squad.
Fenerbahçe, which has submitted its Europa League squad to UEFA, will not be able to field the experienced footballer in this competition until the next round.
Kostic had also been linked with Galatasaray during the transfer window.
FENERBAHÇE’S TRANSFERS THIS SEASON
Under the management of Jose Mourinho, Fenerbahçe made seven additions to their squad during the summer transfer window.
The Yellow-Navy Blues had previously announced the transfers of Youssef En-Nesyri, Çağlar Söyüncü, Allan Saint-Maximin, Oğuz Aydın, Sofyan Amrabat, Levent Mercan, and Cenk Tosun.
