Fenerbahçe Adds Injury Protection Clause to Cristian Medina’s January Transfer
It is claimed that Fenerbahçe has included a special clause in the contract of Cristian Medina, with whom they have reached an agreement for January.
It was stated that the Yellow-Navy Blues secured the transfer with this clause and accepted the player’s joining the team in January under these conditions.
Fenerbahçe‘s management agreed on a $15 million offer, including bonuses, with Boca Juniors for the Medina transfer.
It is alleged that Fenerbahçe has included a special clause in the contract of the player who will join the club in January.
According to a report in Sabah, Fenerbahçe may withdraw from this transfer depending on the nature of the injury if Medina gets injured before January.
It was mentioned that after the acceptance of this clause, Fenerbahçe approved the player’s arrival in January. Medina, who will join Fenerbahçe during the mid-season transfer window, will sign a 5-year contract.
Cristian Medina, who was raised in Boca Juniors’ youth academy, has played 155 matches for the Argentine giant, scoring 9 goals and providing 11 assists.
