Mourinho’s Directive: Fenerbahçe Gears Up for Triple Winter Transfer Move
Fenerbahçe continues its efforts in the winter transfer window, with head coach Jose Mourinho requesting reinforcements for another position. Mourinho has specifically asked the management for an experienced player who can adapt quickly to the team.
With the season underway under Mourinho‘s leadership and the ultimate goal of securing the championship, Fenerbahçe is accelerating its mid-season transfer activities.
Following Mourinho’s directives, the club is expected to strengthen the left-back and attacking midfielder positions in January. Fenerbahçe is planning to bring in Anderson Talisca for the number 10 role while also searching for a new left-back following Oosterwolde‘s injury.
According to a report by Milliyet, Mourinho has also requested a center-back transfer. It was emphasized that the lack of stability in the position prompted Mourinho to seek an experienced defender who can seamlessly integrate into the team.
The Portuguese manager has primarily relied on Çağlar Söyüncü, Alexander Djiku, and Rodrigo Becao in the center-back pairing, with Samet Akaydin also entering the competition in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Serdar Aziz, another center-back in the squad, was permitted at the start of the season to find a new team.
