Dusan Tadic to Stay: Fenerbahçe Captain Accepts New Deal with Performance Clause
Fenerbahçe, having successfully concluded contract extension talks with İrfan Can Kahveci, is now finalizing a deal with Dusan Tadic. The Serbian star is reported to have agreed to the terms of a new contract, which will include a performance-based option.
Fenerbahçe, focusing on internal transfers, has reportedly reached the final stages of negotiations with Tadić. The Yellow-Navy Blues are said to have come to an agreement with their Serbian captain.
The 36-year-old player has reportedly accepted a 1+1-year contract. According to a report in Sabah, Tadić, who currently earns a €4 million net salary, will not receive a pay increase under the new deal.
As per the agreement, if Tadić plays a certain number of matches next season, the one-year extension clause will be activated, automatically renewing his contract.
This season, Tadić has played 20 matches for Fenerbahçe, spending 1,538 minutes on the field.
The Serbian star has contributed 8 goals and 8 assists in these appearances.
