Athletic Bilbao Match Attracts Top European Scouts to Fenerbahçe
The upcoming UEFA Europa League match between Fenerbahçe and Athletic Bilbao is set to draw significant attention from European scouts.
Four clubs, including Benfica, where Turkish players Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Orkun Kökçü play, are reportedly sending representatives to observe Fenerbahçe‘s national midfielder, İsmail Yüksek.
Fenerbahçe will host Athletic Bilbao tomorrow (December 11), and the match has attracted scouts from Atlético Madrid, Marseille, Rennes, and Benfica, according to Türkiye Gazetesi. These clubs are particularly interested in monitoring the performance of İsmail Yüksek.
Benfica, which has previously been linked to İsmail Yüksek, is once again showing interest. However, Fenerbahçe has reportedly decided not to consider any offers for the player during the upcoming transfer window.
The 25-year-old midfielder has appeared in 18 matches for Fenerbahçe this season but has yet to register a goal or assist.
