Fenerbahçe President Holds Pre-Match Meeting with Squad
Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç met with the football team at Fenerbahçe's Samandıra Can Bartu Facilities.
Before the Başakşehir match, President Ali Koç held a meeting with the players and emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity in his speech.
Starting his remarks by congratulating Çağlar Söyüncü on the birth of his child, President Koç said:
“Football is very dynamic. Look at where we’ve come in just a week. Don’t get discouraged; nothing has been lost. The only thing we’ve lost is morale, and you’re the ones who will lift that morale. You’ll get two good wins, starting especially on Sunday.”
“Just as we came down from the clouds in one week, the same thing can happen to others. A week from now, we could be in a completely different place.”
“My only request from you is this: now is the time for unity and togetherness. No complaints. It’s time for solidarity and teamwork. Nothing is lost. We will reach the play-offs in the UEFA Europa League, and, God willing, we’ll be champions at the end of the season. There’s no reason we can’t achieve this. So, stick together, support one another, and motivate each other.”
