In the 22nd week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Çaykur Rizespor 3-2 after trailing 2-0. Fenerbahçe had two goals disallowed and hit the woodwork four times, while Çaykur Rizespor finished the match with nine men.

Ali Sowe opened the scoring for Çaykur Rizespor in the 6th minute and struck again in the 13th minute to put his team 2-0 ahead.

Shaken by the early goals, Fenerbahçe found their breakthrough in the 45th minute. After a VAR review, a penalty was awarded, and Edin Dzeko successfully converted to reduce the deficit.

The second half was nothing short of thrilling. In the 78th minute, Rachid Ghezzal received his second yellow card, leaving Rizespor with nine men. Just a minute later, Edin Dzeko scored again to bring the match level at 2-2. With Talisca, İrfan Can Kahveci, and Cenk Tosun coming on, Fenerbahçe intensified their pressure. Their persistence paid off in the 89th minute when Youssef En Nesyri netted the winning goal, completing a remarkable comeback: 3-2!

With this victory, Fenerbahçe climbed to 49 points, while Çaykur Rizespor remained at 28 points.
