Fenerbahçe Announces Agreement with Diego Carlos

Fenerbahçe has announced that they have reached a preliminary agreement for the transfer of Aston Villa defender Diego Carlos.

In a statement from the yellow-and-navy club, it was emphasized that a preliminary agreement had been reached with the Brazilian player and his club, stating, “The Brazilian player has been invited to Istanbul for medical examinations and to advance transfer negotiations.”

Diego Carlos has played 58 matches for Aston Villa over 2.5 seasons. During his career, he has also played for Sevilla, Nantes, Estoril, and Madureira.

The Yellow-Navy Blues are planning to make another signing for the center-back position. While continuing their search for a left-footed center-back, Fenerbahçe’s initial offer to Milan for Pavlović was rejected.
