Milan Skriniar said, “We controlled the first half and created chances. In the second half, we also found many opportunities but couldn’t score. If you don’t score, you can’t win. Overall, we were much better than our opponent and didn’t give them any chances, but we are disappointed with the result. We will keep pushing forward.”
Kostic, who started the game but was subbed off for Osayi in the 58th minute, added, “It’s been a tough week for us, but that’s no excuse for not winning. It’s hard for me to speak right now. It was a difficult game for us and our fans. We were unlucky. We created so many chances and controlled the match from start to finish, but luck wasn’t on our side today.”
Mert Hakan Yandaş, who came on in the 82nd minute, said, “I apologize to our entire community. Whatever is being said, they are right. There’s nothing more to add.”
