In the statement made by the club, it was announced that Djiku was injured in the Ludogorets match and an MRI was performed.
Following the checks, a non-displaced fracture was detected in the fifth metatarsal bone of the experienced defender’s right foot.
Fenerbahçe’s statement
“MRI imaging was performed at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital due to the complaint of pain felt by Alexander Djiku, one of our Professional Football A Team players, after the blow he received to his foot in the Ludogorets match we played in the UEFA Conference League . As a result of the evaluation, a non-displaced fracture was detected in the fifth metatarsal bone of the right foot. “We wish our player to get well soon and his treatment started immediately.”
How long will Alexander Djiku be out?
Alexander Djiku is expected to be away from the jersey for at least 1 month. The experienced defender is not expected to take part in the Pendikspor, Trabzonspor, Ludogorets, Adana Demirspor and Fatih Karagümrük matches in this process.
