Fred on Kasımpaşa Win and Injury: “No Concerns, I’ll Recover Quickly”

Fenerbahçe star Fred spoke after the Kasımpaşa match.

Following Fenerbahçe‘s 3-1 victory against Kasımpaşa in Matchweek 24 of the Süper Lig, Fred shared his thoughts.

Evaluating the match and his pass leading to En-Nesyri’s goal, Fred said:
“In my opinion, that should have counted as an assist. I think I delivered a great pass. As for the match, we put in a strong performance. The three points were crucial. We played against a good opponent. We performed well today, but we know there are aspects we need to improve. We will keep working on them. We have another important match on Thursday. We’re progressing step by step. We will rest and be ready for it.”

When reminded that he was seen limping to the locker room after the game, Fred reassured fans:
“I’m fine, nothing to worry about. I took a knock, but these things happen in football. I will recover properly before our crucial match on Thursday. I am taking care of myself, and I’ll be ready. No one should worry.”
