Fenerbahçe’s Bartuğ Elmaz on Loan: “Mourinho Keeps in Touch”
During the winter transfer window, 21-year-old Bartuğ Elmaz, who was loaned from Fenerbahçe to Slovenian league side Maribor, made statements about head coach Jose Mourinho.
Emphasizing that he maintains close communication with Mourinho, Elmaz said, “Mourinho sends me a message after every match. When I scored my first goal for Maribor against Celje, he congratulated me, and we had a little joke about it. He is a great coach, and I want to learn a lot from him. Likewise, I also want to learn a lot from my current coach at Maribor, Bostjan Cesar.”
ON LOAN UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON
The Yellow-Navy Blue defensive midfielder Bartuğ Elmaz will continue playing for Maribor until the end of the season.
