Head Coach İsmail Kartal’s plan failed!!

In Fenerbahçe‘s UEFA Europa Conference League match against Nordsjaelland, where they suffered a 6-1 defeat, the pre-conceived plan of the head coach, İsmail Kartal, did not materialize on the field.

The multitude of missing players in Fenerbahçe posed a significant challenge for İsmail Kartal before the Nordsjaelland match. Players like Becao, Serdar Aziz, Mert Hakan, Zajc, Djiku, Ferdi, and Fred, who were either injured or not ready, along with Mert Müldür, Samet, Emre Mor, and Bartuğ Elmaz, who were not included in the UEFA-list, remained in Istanbul.

According to Fanatik Gazetesi’s report, there was curiosity about how İsmail Kartal would organize the defense, and the experienced coach made significant changes.

17-year-old Yusuf Akçiçek, who was in the starting lineup in the previous Ludogorets match, was again in the starting XI. Unexpectedly, midfielder İsmail Yüksek also played alongside him.

Oosterwolde, who had mostly played in the center of the defense this season, shifted to his actual position as the left-back.

In the heart of the midfield, İsmail Kartal had Szymanski playing alongside Crespo.

Starting in the XI were Kent on the left flank, Tadic as the number 10, Cengiz on the right, and Batshuayi up front.
