Fenerbahçe’s Statement: “Galatasaray’s Hatipoğlu’s Proposal Accepted for Transparent Review”
Fenerbahçe Club responded to the statements made by Galatasaray Board Member İbrahim Hatipoğlu. The Yellow-Navy Blues announced that they accepted Hatipoğlu's proposal.
In response to İbrahim Hatipoğlu’s comments, Fenerbahçe released a statement indicating that his suggestion had been accepted.
“WE ACCEPT IBRAHIM HATIPOGLU’S PROPOSAL”
Fenerbahçe’s statement is as follows:
“This is our response to the proposal made by Galatasaray Board Member Mr. İbrahim Hatipoğlu during a discussion on NTV.
We accept Mr. Hatipoğlu’s proposal: ‘All controversial positions, including the last two years and the first eight weeks, should be evaluated by authorities that both clubs will accept. Let it be revealed how many points each team has gained or lost due to referee errors. Then the facts will come to light.’
We are ready to conduct an evaluation of the first eight weeks starting from this season as a priority.
We emphasize to the public that we are prepared to take every step, including dialogue and discussions, to implement this proposal by determining the names they want.
In this way, we believe that the scandalous referee errors in the championship race and the events that have occurred at critical junctures in Turkish football history will be clarified.”
