Prison Sentence for Assailant of Fenerbahçe Star Dusan Tadic
In a verdict announced today, the assailant who attacked Fenerbahçe's star, Dusan Tadic, during his time at Ajax, has been sentenced to prison.
Dusan Tadic, who joined Fenerbahçe during the summer transfer window, faced an attack on July 28, 2022, outside his residence when he played for Ajax. Approached by two individuals while parking his car, Tadic was assaulted. Trying to escape, the star player was pursued and choked by the attackers, leading to minor injuries. He sought refuge in a nearby hotel.
With the help of security camera footage, the Amsterdam police successfully apprehended the two assailants. Today, the court ruled that the attack was carried out with the intent of robbery. The assailant, 20-year-old Muhammed F., who attacked Tadic, has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for his involvement in the assault. Muhammed El K., the accomplice, had previously been sentenced to 6 months in prison last February for a public violence offense.
