Milan makes statement on Fenerbahçe’s target Rade Krunic
Milan's Head Coach Stefano Pioli has made a surprising statement regarding Rade Krunic, whom Fenerbahçe aims to add to their squad.
Stefano Pioli, the Head Coach of Milan, made striking remarks about the situation of Rade Krunic, who is on Fenerbahçe‘s transfer agenda.
In a press conference held before their match against Empoli in Serie A tomorrow, Pioli responded to claims that Krunic, a midfielder who had a stable start to the season at Milan but was later excluded from the starting lineup, would leave the team.
Pioli: It’s better for Krunic to seek another team
The Italian coach stated, “At the moment, it’s better for both him and us to seek another team. It’s not true that Krunic doesn’t want to play. I made the choices, and I didn’t include him in the squad because his performance hasn’t been as it used to be.”
Fenerbahçe’s 4 million Euro offer
Fenerbahçe continues negotiations to acquire Rade Krunic. According to reports in the Italian media, Fenerbahçe’s Sporting Director, Mario Branco, held talks with the Milan management for Krunic today.
It is claimed that Fenerbahçe proposed a 4 million Euro transfer fee and bonuses for the 30-year-old midfielder.
