Bright Osayi-Samuel got food poisoning in the national team!

Bright Osayi-Samuel, who plays for Fenerbahçe and is part of Nigeria‘s Africa Cup of Nations squad, revealed that he experienced food poisoning while in the camp for the national team.

Osayi-Samuel, who began the Africa Cup of Nations Group A opening match on the bench against Equatorial Guinea, saw Nigeria draw 1-1 with their opponent. He entered the game as a substitute in the 83rd minute.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe’s accomplished right-back announced that he suffered from food poisoning during the Nigeria National Team camp.

Osayi-Samuel, stating that he felt weak, assured that he would recover before the match against Ivory Coast scheduled for Thursday and emphasized that there was no cause for concern.
