Fenerbahçe Targets Trabzonspor’s Umut Bozok
Yellow Canaries have set their sights on Trabzonspor's sidelined striker, Umut Bozok.

According to Aygün Özipek’s report from Ajansspor, Fenerbahçe, actively engaged in mid-season transfers with the acquisitions of Leonardo Bonucci and Rade Krunic, loaned out Samet Akaydin to Panathinaikos and Umut Nayir to Pendikspor. Now, the Yellow Canaries have set their sights on Trabzonspor‘s sidelined striker, Umut Bozok.
Ismail Kartal: “We can reinforce with a local forward”
After the 6-0 victory against Adanaspor in the cup, Fenerbahçe’s head coach, Ismail Kartal, stated, “We can make one local forward reinforcement.”
Swap offer for Umut
With Umut Nayir’s loan to Pendikspor, Fenerbahçe plans to strengthen their attacking line with a local forward, targeting Trabzonspor’s Umut Bozok, who has been sidelined by the maroon and blue team. The Yellow Canaries will make a swap proposal to Trabzonspor for the transfer of the 27-year-old Turkish forward.
Ryan Kent or Miha Zajc suggested
Fenerbahçe is expected to propose either English winger Ryan Kent or Slovenian midfielder Miha Zajc, both not considered in the plans of the Black Sea team, in exchange for Umut.

Umut Bozok, acquired by Trabzonspor from French club FC Loirent for a transfer fee of 2 million euros in the beginning of the 2022-23 season, showcased an impressive performance in his debut season with 10 goals and 3 assists in 37 matches. However, this season, he has only played 262 minutes in 4 matches for the maroon and blue team.
Top scorer at Kasımpaşa
Having previously played for another Super Lig club, Kasımpaşa, in his Super Lig career, the 27-year-old striker became the top scorer in the 2020-21 season with 20 goals wearing Istanbul team’s jersey.

Umut Bozok’s current market value is 2.4 million euros, and his contract with Trabzonspor is set to expire on June 30, 2025. The 27-year-old forward has also represented the national team once.
