Fenerbahçe announced that a tear in the tendon in the front thigh area of Fred's right leg, which occurred during the match against Samsunspor, has been detected.
Fenerbahçe released a statement regarding the health condition of Fred, who got injured in the match against Samsunspor in the 21st week of the Turkish Super Lig.
In the statement from the yellow-navy club, it was mentioned that a tear in the tendon in the front thigh area of the Brazilian player’s right leg has been detected.
The statement included the following words: “Our player Fred Rodrigues, who had to leave the game due to an injury in the match we played against Y. Samsunspor last night, underwent an MRI at Altunizade Hospital. Following the examinations, the treatment of our player, in whom a tear in the tendon in the front thigh area of the right leg was detected, has been started immediately.”

Fred is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks at Fenerbahçe.
