Businessman Sadettin Saran made the official announcement regarding his candidacy for the presidency of Fenerbahçe. Saran announced his resignation from the ITO council, citing his commitment to presidential duties.
Sadettin Saran, Chairman of Saran Group’s Board of Directors, stated, “At this point, due to my candidacy for the presidency of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, I am sadly obliged to leave the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) council.” Speaking at the March council meeting of the ITO, Sadettin Saran expressed his honor in being part of the Chamber and stated that he had met very valuable individuals during his short tenure at this prestigious institution.
Continuing his statement, Saran said, “At this point, due to my candidacy for the presidency of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, I am sadly obliged to leave the ITO council. As I bid you farewell, I want to express that I will never forget the sincerity I have witnessed here. Dear friends, together with my team, we are setting out to make Fenerbahçe champions. In pursuit of this goal, we will not only work for the success of Fenerbahçe but also for Turkish sports and the representation of our country’s name in the best possible way in Europe and at the Olympics, with plans and dreams that will also support our Olympic athletes.”
