Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahçe Penalized by UEFA Following Red Card Incident
UEFA has imposed a 1-match ban on Jose Mourinho, who received a red card during the Manchester United match, and fined Fenerbahçe 29,000 euros.
The penalty for Jose Mourinho, who was shown a red card in Fenerbahçe’s UEFA Europa League Group 3 match against Manchester United, which ended 1-1, has been confirmed.
The UEFA Disciplinary Committee issued a 1-match ban to the Portuguese coach. Mourinho will not be on the sidelines for the AZ Alkmaar match.
UEFA also fined Fenerbahçe Club 29,000 euros, citing reasons such as throwing foreign objects onto the field, igniting flares, and the delayed start of the match.
