Referring to the atmosphere in the match, Denswil said, “I had never experienced such a poisonous atmosphere before.”

There are also moments in the footage where Trabzonspor players were trying to safely bring Fenerbahçe players inside.”
The experienced figure, mentioning that he also considered his own safety during the incidents, said, “In such a moment, you need to consider your own safety as well. That’s why I decided to go inside at some point because I was already too late.”
Describing the incidents as ‘unforgivable’, Denswil concluded his words by saying, “This is not part of football, you don’t want to see this, and it’s unforgivable, but this is Turkey…”
