Hajduk Split Eyeing Fenerbahçe Star Edin Dzeko in Shock Transfer Bid
Fenerbahçe's striker Edin Dzeko has received a surprise transfer offer. Hajduk Split, who recently appointed Gennaro Gattuso as head coach, is trying to convince Dzeko with a 2-year contract offer. The final decision on Dzeko's future will be made by Jose Mourinho.
It has been reported that Croatian team Hajduk Split is interested in Fenerbahçe’s Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the Croatian club has offered Dzeko a 2-year contract.
Gennaro Gattuso, who was appointed as head coach of Hajduk Split last week, and Nikola Kalinic, who joined the Croatian team as sporting director after retiring from playing at the end of the season, are trying to persuade the star player.
The report states that the final decision regarding Edin Dzeko’s future at Fenerbahçe will be made by head coach Jose Mourinho.
The 38-year-old striker played in 46 matches last season, contributing 25 goals and 10 assists to the yellow-dark blue team.
