Ali Koç Sets 48-Hour Deadline for En Nesyri Transfer

The Bodrum Fenerbahçe Supporters Association marked "19.07 World Fenerbahçe Day" with a grand celebration attended by Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Ali Koç. Speaking at the event, Koç stated, “To those who manipulate football using the name and power of politics, sometimes without our President's knowledge, I say your end is near. A system adorned with injustice cannot last long. It's been overly extended, and what we seek is justice and change—not for us, but for Turkish football, all clubs, and the future of our country.”

The annual “19.07 ” was celebrated by the Bodrum Supporters Association at an entertainment venue. The event was attended by Ali Koç, Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Aras, Bodrum District Governor Mustafa Çit, Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, Fenerbahçe Board members, association members, and many fans. President Ali Koç was greeted with torches and cheers. Fans took numerous photos with him. During the event, after protocol speeches, Ali Koç presented Bodrum Fenerbahçe Supporters Association President Gürkan Topan with a jersey signed by Fenerbahçe Coach Jose for the first time for an association, while Topan gave Koç a portrait of Atatürk.

ALI KOÇ: WE WILL NOT COMPROMISE ON OUR PRINCIPLES

In his speech, Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Ali Koç stated, “We will hold a large Fenerbahçe rally in soon. We have started a fight against a system. Our community is impatient; I was heavily criticized yesterday. ‘This man is running again, he will be president again.’ Be patient, friends; things built over 20-25 years don’t change in 20-25 days. I urge our community to learn patience. Some of you are aware of our struggle, some are very aware, but some forget. Believe me, better days are coming. This country was founded with great difficulty and poverty. During the foundation and liberation of this country, this community and this club played significant roles. We will continue to say that the Fenerbahçe Sports Club is much more than a sports club forever. Fenerbahçe, with its principles and stance, has become a target. Recently, it has become a serious target. was a target, Ali Şen was a target during his time, and it has peaked in my term. Great successes and happiness come after great challenges. I mentioned this at the general assembly. If a club consistently stays 1-2 points behind the first place over 10 years and doesn’t win a cup while those in the top 5 win, this cannot be explained by any sporting logic. We are going through a crisis period internally. Our rivals didn’t win championships for 38, 15, and 10 years. We are experiencing this crisis because we are a target, not for sporting reasons. Perhaps my speech yesterday will make us a target again, but it doesn’t matter. We will never compromise our stance, principles, or the responsibilities bestowed upon us by this republic for championships and success. This stance will continue, and it has a price, but believe me, the days when we will reap the rewards are very close. Those who applauded our stance yesterday should not despair over a possible point loss in 2-3 weeks. The end of this system is near. When I say this system, I am not getting into politics. I am addressing those who use the name and power of politics to manipulate football as they wish, sometimes without our President’s knowledge. A system adorned with injustice cannot last long. It’s been overly extended, and what we seek is justice and change—not for us, but for Turkish football, all clubs, and the future of our country.”

“I GAVE 48 HOURS”

Providing information about transfers, Ali Koç said, “We have a rival who says white one day and black the next. They support something one day and sell it the next. If what was done to us after Riyadh was done to that club, I would be the first to say don’t be unfair, we are all responsible, we were all there. They joyfully watched the conspiracy organized against us by politics. It has been said for a reason, don’t laugh at your neighbor’s misfortune; it will come to you. We needed 3-4 transfers, two wingers, a stopper, and a forward; the coach wanted this. He wanted Çağlar, we completed it. We completed Maximin, we got . Yesterday the coach said you brought a good player, hopefully, he is top-level as he said. We got left-back Levent Mercan long ago, he came from the German system and will also be successful. Many want Ferdi, but we want Ferdi more, Ferdi has to stay. After finishing the forward , we will clear our squads until the end of August and wait for opportunity transfers. As for the forward, we really wanted En-Nesyri. We still want him, but our patience is running out. Greetings from here, I gave Mario Branco 48 hours. If it happens, it happens; if not, we will go to B-C-D-E.”
