Djiku on Adana Demirspor Match: “Season Openers Are Tough, Today’s Victory Was Very Important”
Fenerbahçe's Ghanaian player Djiku, who spoke after the match against Adana Demirspor, also evaluated the upcoming second leg against Lille in the UEFA Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round.
Alexander Djiku, addressing the difficulties of season openers and discussing the second leg against Lille, said, “I can say we had a good match. Season openers are challenging. Securing a victory today was very important to me, and I am very happy. We created many opportunities at the opponent’s goal and also did not give the opponent many chances at our own goal.
