Fenerbahçe Loans Sofyan Amrabat with Purchase Option: Istanbul Arrival Soon
Fenerbahçe has strengthened its midfield by acquiring Sofyan Amrabat, the Moroccan defensive midfielder from Fiorentina.
The yellow and navy-blue club reached an agreement with the Italian side, and Amrabat is expected to arrive in Istanbul shortly.
Fenerbahçe has successfully finalized their search for a number 6 midfielder. The club has agreed with Fiorentina for the transfer of Sofyan Amrabat. After convincing Amrabat, the management also persuaded the Italian team.
Fenerbahçe will loan the 28-year-old player for one season, with an option to buy included in the deal.
Amrabat will arrive in Istanbul soon for a medical examination.
Sofyan Amrabat spent last season on loan at Manchester United. Fiorentina signed the Moroccan midfielder from Hellas Verona in 2020 for 19.5 million euros.
