Fenerbahçe Pushes for Cristian Medina Transfer Following Mourinho’s Request
After recently signing Sofyan Amrabat, Fenerbahçe's head coach, Jose Mourinho, has requested another transfer from the management. Following Mourinho's request, the Fenerbahçe management has been in contact and is continuing negotiations for the player in question.
Fenerbahçe, continuing its transfer activities for the new season, recently added Sofyan Amrabat to the squad. In line with Jose Mourinho‘s requests, the management is aiming to finalize one more transfer.
Following Amrabat, Fenerbahçe is planning to make another addition to the midfield. According to TRT Spor, Jose Mourinho has requested the transfer of Cristian Medina.
Fenerbahçe has made a €10 million offer to Boca Juniors for Medina, but the Argentine club has informed the Yellow-Navy Blues that they expect a higher transfer fee for the player.
If Fenerbahçe does not increase its offer, the transfer of Cristian Medina will be shelved.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has three years remaining on his contract with Boca Juniors, contributed 3 goals and 3 assists in 25 matches in 2024.
