Injury Update: Djiku Close to Comeback, Osayi-Samuel Out for Two Weeks
Alexander Djiku is set to return to the field for Fenerbahçe. The 30-year-old center-back, who is nearing the end of his recovery, has started individual training sessions.
Djiku, who was injured during Fenerbahçe‘s 3-0 victory over Alanyaspor in the Süper Lig, has recovered from his injury. The 30-year-old player took to the field for the first time since his injury.
The medical team plans for the Ghanaian footballer to rejoin the team in a few days. Meanwhile, Bright Osayi-Samuel’s treatment is ongoing. The Nigerian player, who was injured in training, will be out for another two weeks.
Fenerbahçe, currently at the top of the Trendyol Süper Lig standings with 10 points from an extra match, will face Kasımpaşa away in the 5th week of the league on Sunday.
