Mourinho on 2-0 Win Over Bodrumspor: “Happy with Points, But More Goals Needed”
After Fenerbahçe defeated Bodrumspor in the Trendyol Süper Lig, head coach Jose Mourinho shared his thoughts. Mourinho stated, “We deserved the win. It should have been 4-5-6 goals; we shouldn’t have stopped at just 2. I’m happy with the points, but we should have scored more.”

In the 10th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe won 2-0 against Bodrumspor with goals from En-Nesyri and Dzeko.
Following the match, Mourinho assessed the team’s performance. He remarked, “We deserved the win. It should have been 4-5-6 goals; stopping at 2 wasn’t enough. I’m happy with the points, but we should have scored more goals. In the end, we finished the match with just 2 goals. The goals we scored didn’t come from the chances we created. The whole team played well in building up the play, and that’s how we’d have preferred to score. I got the impression that some players seemed satisfied with the game flow, but the most important thing was securing the 3 points.”
Forward Selections
Mourinho further added, “The choice of forwards varies from match to match. Today, we started with two forwards. In matches where we play with a lone striker and bring on another forward from the wing, the other one doesn’t get playing time. I’m pleased that Cenk got minutes today. He’s working hard.”
