Two players were absent for Fenerbahçe: Cengiz Ünder and Jayden Oosterwolde.

Oosterwolde, who was injured in the Samsunspor match and underwent surgery in the Netherlands, will be out for an extended period.

Facing a tough away match, Fenerbahçe overcame Trabzonspor with goals from Fred, Edin Dzeko, and Amrabat, securing a 3-2 victory.

Five Changes for Fenerbahçe

Before the match, two Fenerbahçe players were absent from the squad. Injured players Cengiz Ünder and Jayden Oosterwolde were unable to join the team.

Compared to the starting lineup from last week’s 2-0 win over Sipay Bodrumspor, Mourinho made five changes. Fred, Tadic, Szymanski, Mert Müldür, and Çağlar Söyüncü started in place of Dzeko, İsmail Yüksek, İrfan Can Kahveci, Becao, and Kostic.

After missing the Samsunspor match due to a yellow card suspension, Fred returned to the lineup, along with Tadic and Szymanski, who were rested last week. Mourinho opted for Mert Müldür at left-back instead of Kostic and chose Çağlar Söyüncü over Becao in defense.

No Fenerbahçe Fans Allowed

Fenerbahçe supporters were unable to attend the match to support their team in Trabzon.

Following a request from the home team, the Trabzon Provincial Sports Safety Board decided to exclude Fenerbahçe fans from the stadium, where only Trabzonspor fans were present.

– Heavy Security Measures

A total of 3,500 security personnel, including 1,000 private security officers and 2,500 police officers, were deployed for the match. Security staff lined the field for additional precautions.
