Transfer Rumors: Fenerbahçe’s Backup Plan Features Jonathan David
Fenerbahçe charts a roadmap following offers for Youssef En-Nesyri. The yellow-dark blue club has identified two potential replacements for the Moroccan forward. If En-Nesyri departs, negotiations will begin with these candidates.
Fenerbahçe, while continuing discussions with Al-Nassr for Anderson Talisca, received surprise offers from Saudi representatives for Youssef En-Nesyri.
Fenerbahçe, approached by clubs like Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad regarding En-Nesyri, has prepared two options in case the Moroccan star leaves.
FIRST OPTION: JONATHAN DAVID
According to Fanatik, the first candidate is Jonathan David.
The Canadian striker, whose contract with Lille expires at the end of the season, has rejected a new offer from the French club.
Rather than losing David for free at the end of the season, Lille may consider selling him during the winter transfer window. This season, Jonathan David has contributed 13 goals and 2 assists in 19 matches.
ANOTHER NAME: ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC
The report also states that Aleksandar Mitrovic is the other candidate for Fenerbahçe.
Described as a ‘dream’ transfer for the club, the 30-year-old Serbian forward has scored an impressive 58 goals in 61 matches for Al-Hilal.
Al-Hilal paid Fulham €52.6 million for Mitrovic, who earns an annual salary of €25 million from the Saudi club.
