Tough Fixtures Await Fenerbahçe, But Team Seeks Clean Sweep
After the international break, Fenerbahçe is set to face a series of crucial matches in both the league and Europe.
Having recently defeated Sivasspor 4-0 in the Süper Lig, the Yellow Canaries will resume their campaign with key fixtures. In Week 13 of the Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe will travel to face Kayserispor at the RHG Enertürk Enerji Stadium on Saturday at 16:00. Currently second in the league with 26 points, trailing leaders Galatasaray by five, Fenerbahçe aims to secure a win against Kayserispor while hoping their archrival stumbles in their away match against Bodrum FK.
José Mourinho‘s side will then shift focus to the UEFA Europa League after the Kayserispor match. On Thursday, November 28, Fenerbahçe will face Czech side Slavia Prague away, with kickoff scheduled for 23:00. The team hopes to recover from their recent 3-1 loss to AZ Alkmaar and regain momentum in Europe.
Following their trip to Prague, Fenerbahçe will host Gaziantep Football Club before embarking on a demanding stretch of three critical games within eight days. On Saturday, December 7, they will clash with archrival Beşiktaş away. Four days later, they will host Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League at Kadıköy. After facing the Spanish side, Fenerbahçe will return to league action to welcome RAMS Başakşehir.
Amid these challenges, Fenerbahçe will be without Jayden Oosterwolde, who is out for the season. Meanwhile, the rehabilitation of injured players Çağlar Söyüncü, Cengiz Ünder, İrfan Can Kahveci, and Alexander Djiku is ongoing.
