A surprising name has surfaced in Fenerbahçe‘s ongoing mid-season transfer efforts.
It’s been reported that the Yellow-Navy Blues are interested in Jaden Philogene, who transferred from Hull City to Aston Villa for a €16 million fee earlier this season.
According to TRT Spor, Fenerbahçe aims to bring the English player on loan.
The report notes that after Talisca, the 22-year-old winger is the first player Fenerbahçe is seriously pursuing, with Vice President Acun Ilıcalı personally overseeing the transfer efforts.
Acun Ilıcalı, who also owns Hull City, had brought Jaden Philogene to Hull City in 2023. During a TV program, he had praised the player, saying, “I signed a right winger, you’ll be amazed. Can you write this name down somewhere? Jaden Philogene!”
This season, Jaden Philogene has made 15 appearances for Aston Villa, totaling 535 minutes, but has not contributed with any goals or assists.
