Cristian Medina Signs with Estudiantes: Fenerbahçe’s Target Stays in Argentina
Cristian Medina, whom Fenerbahçe sought to add to their squad at the beginning of the season, is signing a new deal. The 22-year-old player will continue his career in Argentina.
Cristian Medina, who Fenerbahçe aimed to recruit earlier in the season, is leaving Boca Juniors.
A €15 million transfer fee has been paid for Medina. The Argentine player will not continue his career at Boca.
Argentina’s leading newspaper, Ole, reported that Cristian Medina has transferred to Estudiantes.
This season, Cristian Medina played 30 matches for Boca Juniors, recording 3 goals and 3 assists.
The Argentine player can operate as a number 10, a central midfielder, or on the right side of the midfield.
TyC Sports had previously reported that Medina was set to join Fenerbahçe. However, numerous newspapers and reporters in the Argentine press have stated that Medina is transferring to Estudiantes instead of Fenerbahçe.
